Join us for this 3-part Fall gardening series designed to support you throughout the stages of the season:

1) Growing Your Own Food (Fall) - Want to build your own home Fall garden but don’t know where to start? Asking the right questions can make all the difference. Come learn the basic design principles that go into building a cost-efficient, fun, and productive garden. Begin learning about important decisions such as bed location, bed construction, plant varieties, planting timing, and costs involved. We'll discuss what types of plants will do well over the fall and when to get things in the ground to get your Fall season off on the right foot. Walk away with the tips and skills to get your garden built in time for the coming Fall. Saturday, Sept. 16th, 9am-11am

2) Perennial Herbs and Trees: Seasonal vegetables aren't the only things to plant out as the weather begins to cool off. There's an incredible palette of plants to choose from that have longer life spans, unique flavors, medicinal values, and sweet fruits. Come learn about a number of perennial herbs and fruit trees that will grow great in our climate and how to incorporate them into your home spaces. We'll be demonstrating fruit tree planting and discuss seasonal maintenance. Saturday, Oct. 14th, 9am-11am

3) Trouble Shooting, Maintenance, & Harvesting - Once your garden is planted for the season, it doesn't mean your work there is over. Come to Finca Tres Robles to discuss, see and walk-through best-practices when maintaining and harvesting from an organic home garden. Learn the proper ways of harvesting to help encourage further growth season long production. Finding pests, discoloration, stunted growth... we'll talk about that too. The home garden requires a good eye and care over the course of the season to provide a seasonal bounty! Saturday, Nov. 11th, 9am-11am
