Arduino I

Participants will get an overview of the Arduino’s operation and features and then delve into hands-on development, learning how to use common sensors and program the Arduino platform. Arduinos and computers will be provided.

Intro to Analog Circuit Theory or some knowledge of resistance, voltage, current etc is recommended. Students also would be well served to take the Intro to C course as it is considered a companion course if the student does not have some basic programming experience.

These courses are not required but are highly recommended.

This class is a great way to get started building projects, students of this class have gone on to create funded kickstarters and build their own amazing DIY projects.

* Fee Notes: Includes an Arduino and project kit that students will take home at the end of the course.

it doesn't make sense to hold this class in march, the analog circuits class in april, and no C class at all despite being named as helpful prerequisites. this seems to happen each time classes are scheduled.
