Python: GUI and OOP

This course serves as an introduction to graphical user interfaces (GUIs) as well as event-based and object-oriented programming. In continuing to learn to "think like a programmer", we will introduce the following topics: Widgets, Geometry Management, Events and Event Loops, Callback Handlers, Objects, and Classes. We will use the Python standard tkinter module’s tools and classes to develop and debug several simple graphical programs that can be built on for more complex graphical user interfaces.
