Woodworking: Simple Table Making

Make your very own solid wooden table from scratch. Each student completes the process of rough lumber selection and milling, measuring, cutting, assembling, and the secrets of a fine finish. Safe and proper use of the bandsaw, tablesaw, drill press, thickness planer, jointer, & hand tools. Biscuit joinery will be examined, explained, and applied through the process of solid wood edge-banding. The Instructor demonstrates each procedure first then works with each student individually as needed. By the end of the 2nd day you will leave with your very own handcrafted table you will cherish forever.
