Sewing I: Basics

Want to learn how to use a sewing machine? This workshop is designed specifically for beginners! Students will learn all of the basic parts of the sewing machine - including basic maintainance and troubleshooting, fabric identification, ironing techniques, basic straight stitching, and clipping corners.

Students will leave the workshop feeling comfortable with the sewing machine and with a handmade apron!

Required Prerequisites: None
Workshop is for: Adults
Students should wear: no loose clothing or long jewelry
