Frank Davies has generously donated a Mendel RepRap to Tx/Rx Labs. Many of the parts for this machine were printed on his repstrap. For those of you not yet in the know RepRaps are machines that can print themselves most of itself at least. Some metal bits and electronics are not yet printable, but the people of the RepRap project are doing their best to solve those problems.

Frank Davies is a long time Tx/Rx member, Nasa engineer and member of the RepRap Community. We here at Tx/Rx have been privileged to receive his company, technical insight and be some of the first to play with some of his creations.

Such as when he was the first to print out the CupCake Transformer.

Or when he has a new sarrus linkage design.

For the Mendel printer and more thank you Frank.
