Bio: Chris Cauley

After receiving a bachelors degree in chemistry, Chris worked as lab manager at the University of Utah where he oversaw the equipment, chemicals and staff for undergraduate lab courses. He then worked as a research assistant investigating ion channels. Realizing that he preferred simulations and programming over lab work and writing papers, he left grad school and moved to Houston to pursue a career in web development. He can be found at the hackerspace Friday nights and most Sunday mornings looking for someone to geek out with about python, sci-fi, philosophy, math, science or cats.
